Illuminizers

SheerMineral Pure Illuminzers will give you an incredible radiant glow... much like if you were in soft candlelight. Our Illuminizers may be used all over the body to impart a soft warm and healthy glow wherever you dust it.

SheerMineral Illuminzers are some of our gorgeous Multi-Purpose Mineral Powders.  They can be used as a Highlighter, a Bronzer for those with pale skin tones, an Eye Shadow/Liner and added to Lip Gloss Base or Clear Nail Base for a very natural looking colour.

SheerMineral Illuminzers come in a 10gm sifter jar (3gm net product weight), ready for application.  This size should last you between three to six months with daily application on your face and your decollatage.

How to apply your SheerMineral Illuminizers

I really enjoy using the Illuminizer on my face, decollatage, shoulders and arms... it warms my skin tone and gives an almost 'air-brushed' look.  The super fine powder reflects the light, making fine lines almost invisible.  (Which I find to be an especially appealing quality in any product!)

As a face and body Illuminizer:  A big, soft natural bristle brush, like our Kabuki Brush, is the best option.
  • With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down, then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.
  • Take the lid off and swirl the tips of the bristles in the powder to pick up some pigment.
  • Gently tap off excess pigment on edge of the jar.
  • Turn your brush upside down and tap the bottom of the handle on a firm surface, like the bathroom benchtop.  This helps to disperse the pigments evenly thoughout the bristles.
  • Lightly swirl the brush over your face, decollatage, arms, legs and shoulders in big, sweeping swirls for wherever you want gorgeous smooth looking skin skin.

As a highlighting shade for the face and body: A medium sized, natural bristle brush, like a blush brush is ideal.
  • Carefully apply the Illuminizer where you wish to create contouring and highlighting until you acheive the desired result.
  • You can make your cheekbones 'pop', highlight your eyes, give yourself a soft and natural looking glow and really draw attention to your best assests with careful highlighting.
As an eye shadow: The best brush to use is a very soft, natural bristle eyeshadow brush.  Angled for shading and straight for general application.
  • With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down, then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.
  • Take the lid off and lightly dip the tips of the bristle into the powder to pick up some pigment.
  • Gently tap off excess pigment on edge of the jar.
  • Gently sweep the brush tips where you wish to apply, in an even sweeping motion.  For a more intense colour, repeat until desired look is acheived.

As an eye liner:  Either a firm straight, natural bristle brush or a very fine eyeliner brush are your best choices.
  • With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down, then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.
  • Take the lid off and lightly dip the tips of the bristle in the powder to pick up some pigment.
  • Gently tap off excess pigment on edge of the jar.
  • If using a flat brush, simply press the bristle tips where you wish to apply.  If using a fine eyeliner brush, carefully 'paint' on the pigment where you wish to apply.

As a liquid eye liner:  A very fine, natural bristle eyeliner brush is the way to go here.
  • Dampen your brush with a little water or moisturiser.
  • With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down, then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.
  • Take the lid off and lightly dip the bristles in the powder to pick up some pigment.
  • Gently tap off excess pigment on edge of the jar.
  • Carefully 'paint' on the pigment where you wish to apply.

With your lip gloss:  A firm, fine, natural bristle lip brush would be the easiest choice, although they can be applied with a steady fingertip too.  If you prefer, simply blend a little of the pigment with your usual lipgloss for ease of use.
  • Dampen your brush with a little lipgloss or moisturiser.

As a lip tint:  A firm, fine, natural bristle lip brush would be the easiest choice, although they can be applied with a steady fingertip too.
  • With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down, then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.
  • Take the lid off and lightly dip the bristles (or your fingertip) in the powder to pick up some pigment.
  • Gently tap off excess pigment on edge of the jar.
  • Carefully blend the pigment onto your lips.

With your nail polish:  A natural bristle nail polish brush would be the easiest choice although if you prefer, simply blend a little of the pigment with your usual clear nail polish, for ease of use.
  • Dampen your brush with a little of your nail polish.
  • With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down, then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.
  • Take the lid off and lightly dip the bristles in the powder to pick up some pigment.
  • Carefully 'paint' on the pigment onto your nails, dispersing the pigment evenly.  Allow to dry fully.

As a nail tint: The only tool you will need for this, is your fingertip!
  • With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down, then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.
  • Take the lid off and lightly dip fingetip into the powder to pick up some pigment.
  • Simply massage and buff the pigment onto your nails, with your fingertip, dispersing the pigment evenly.
